Position Overview:
Our client, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing next-generation immunotherapies for cancer, is seeking an experienced Executive Medical Director to lead the clinical strategy and execution of early-phase oncology trials. The ideal candidate will serve as a senior medical leader across one or more programs in solid tumors or hematologic malignancies, contributing to the advancement of novel therapies in the immuno-oncology space.

Opportunity Highlights:

  • Act as clinical lead and source of medical expertise for ongoing and emerging oncology programs

  • Oversee clinical trial design, protocol development, and medical monitoring responsibilities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Preclinical, Regulatory, Clinical Operations, and Quality teams to drive clinical program strategy

  • Lead interpretation and presentation of clinical trial data to both internal stakeholders and external experts

  • Develop and review clinical development plans, study reports, investigator brochures, INDs, and regulatory documents

  • Serve as a primary medical liaison to KOLs, investigators, and CROs throughout the course of the trial

  • Provide medical input and support during site training, clinical implementation, and regulatory interactions

Position Requirements:

  • MD or DO required, with board certification/eligibility in Oncology highly preferred

  • Clinical experience in prostate or genitourinary cancers is strongly desired

  • 5+ years of industry or academic experience in Oncology clinical development

  • Demonstrated leadership in early-phase clinical trial execution, from concept to IND and beyond

  • Strong grasp of GCP/ICH guidelines and regulatory requirements for oncology trials

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams, investigators, and senior leadership
