Job Description: Principal Biostatistician – RTP, NC

We are partnering with a mid-sized CRO with a massive global reach on a confidential search for a Principal Biostatistician to join their growing Biometrics team. This role will serve as the liaison to clinical operations department members, analyze clinical trial data, validate statistical output and provide input into statistical SOP and general standardization efforts with the clinical development. In addition, the Principal Biostatistician will report directly to the Director of Biostatistics, be the contact with clients and regulatory agencies across multiple disciplines, and serve as a mentor for less experienced statisticians.

Highlights & Requirements:

  • Degree in statistics or related fields OR;
    • Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years statistics experience
    • Master’s degree with 8+ years statistics experience
  • 6+ years of experience in biostatistics with 2 years in a senior level role
  • Experience as a lead Statistician in the design and conduct of phase I to III trials
  • CRO experience
  • Proposals and budgets knowledge
  • SAS programming experience a plus
  • ISS/ISE experience
