Position Overview:
As a Senior Director of Commercial Supply Chain, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end Supply Chain activities, ensuring excellence in commercial production and supply, implementing standards, and strategizing to meet requirements across the product portfolio.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Align external manufacturing with forecast, provide expertise for regulatory submissions, and oversee network strategy decisions
- Develop and lead an organization function in a matrix structure, serving as an escalation point for risks; implement business continuity
- Lead supply planning, inventory management, and compliance, driving long/short-term planning across internal manufacturing for commercial operations
- Manager distribution/recovery of finished goods, plan combined capacity/materials for commercial operations, and guide manufacturing packaging in alignment with commercial needs
- Oversee global drug product Supply Chain manufacturing, leading the commercial process review and ensuring inventory planning and forecasting for supply targets
Position Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree Required, Biological Science Discipline
- 15+ years of Supply Chain experience within the medical device/pharmaceutical industry
- Previous involvement in commercial drug launches, including serialization and 3PL vendor interaction
- Demonstrate excellent judgment, effective communication across internal and external stakeholders, and familiarity with various technical solutions for supply chain management
- Lead Supply Chain Organizations with demonstrated experience in ERP system implementation for production planning
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, collaborate in a dynamic, cross-functional setting, lead contract negotiations, and exhibit attention to detail and quality
